First steps…


Last semester (Fall 2010), I began research on this project by casually asking my peers, faculty, and staff what they wish were easier to find on the college website and what they tend to use on a regular basis. Initially, I wanted to create a blanket site that would make student, faculty, and staff life easier. This changed as the college began to work on a unified communication system for the campus, which should provide faculty and staff with all the resources they might need in one place. Thus, I began to target student specifically. Although I am aware that my survey data is not random, as I polled mostly those that I knew and those who would be willing to reply, I aggregated a great deal of needs that I had not previous thought of. Below is all the information I have collected, thus far.
